Certificates from the General Register of Last Wills and Certificates of Death Coverage Insurance
125,00 CHF
The General Register of Last Wills is where wills are registered to ensure their existence is known once the person who made the will has passed away or, in some cases, even while the person is still alive.
The last wills certificate is simply the document that certifies that the deceased person indeed made a will before a notary. There is a special procedure to expedite its issuance, provided that 15 working days have passed since the death.
In addition to the last wills certificate, in Spain, the death coverage insurance certificate can also be obtained, which indicates whether the deceased had a life insurance policy that covers their death.
This certificate can be very useful for the deceased’s family members, as it will allow them to determine whether the deceased had taken out life insurance that could help them cover the expenses related to the death.
